Freelife Media Group is a Cincinnati, OH based company that focuses on music production, artist development & management, TV & film scoring and audio engineering. The company was founded by Eddy J. Free, a graduate of California Institute of the Arts, who's composed music that's been featured on television shows nationwide including MTV's "The Real World", and has produced music alongside platinum producer Kayo (LA Face Records and R&B group The Deele).

Stephen T Harris brings a wide range of experience and knowledge to Freelife, having worked in both radio and record retail management. He's been praised by industry professionals for his understanding and awareness of modern business trends in music and hosts a radio show, 'Outing The Music Industry', where he gives the in's and out's of the industry and answers questions artists may have about getting heard and building successful careers.

Rouding out the leadership of Freelife is Reggie Johnson, nephew of Kayo (platinum producer for LA Face Records). Reggie's time spent in the studio and around superstars from a young age helped him develop a keen ear and sense of what it takes to make a star. He is a talent-scount, A&R and deals with artist management and development.

Eddy "J. FREE" is the founder and President of Freelife Media Group.

Surrounded by music from an early age, Eddy taught himself to read music and started playing piano at the age of seven. Within a few years he was composing and writing songs as well as playing drums in school and piano in church.

After graduating from the California Institute of the Arts, Eddy continued on his path to a successful career in the music industry. In 2007, he signed a management deal with Los Angeles entertainment attorney Darrell Thompson, whose clients have included Jay-Z, The Black-Eyed Peas, D'Angelo, Raphael Saadiq, The Avilla Brothers, Myke Diesel and Ron Isley. He's worked with a variety of artists nationwide and co-produced with multi-platinum producer Kayo (LaFace Records, Toni Braxton, TLC).

Eddy composes music for MTV and his music has been featured on television shows nationwide. He's had the opportunity to work with legendary jazz bassist Charlie Haden and personally learn from such industry hit-makers as Grammy award-winning bassist/producer Andrew Gouche (Mary Mary, Warren G, The Winans and Chaka Khan) among others.

Dj SirRah has been involved in music since he was 6 years old. As a singer in choir from elementary thru highschool, he has been involved in many vocal productions. While attending the Columbus School of Performing arts; SirRah became a producer for the top radio station in Columbus (WNCI 97.9), and won many Omni Awards and National Recognition for his music video and television productions. Upon graduation, he attended The Ohio State University and took on a job as a production consultant for the Columbus Public Schools (CPS), The Columbus Educational Satellite Network (CESN), and the Educable television network. At 19 years of age, his top-notch quality productions landed him the opportunity to produce and host the television teen talk show, “Let’s Rap.” This show caught the attention of BET executives, who asked him to collaborate and produce music videos for the winners of their “Come Together Columbus” contest which aired on the BET network.

He’s been a dj since highschool and in the fall of 1990, he formed a menagerie of groups; consisting of a rap group, rock band, and r&b group, and called it the 91 Posse under the the production company, SirrahPro Entertainment. By mid 1991, their music was being played on local radio and music videos on local television. He has been a dj for the national company, A Solid Gold Sound, and has been a dj for many weddings, highschool events, and clubs.

In 2003, he co-founded the indie record label 3 Way Productions, now Drop Step Entertainment. His many collaborations landed him a joint venture deal with Eddy J Free to form Freelife Radio in 2008.
